The author of this book 'Easy as Raspberry Pi' is Matthew Chen. He is well rounded, and has a big interest for programming. This interest is what brought him to write this book. He is 18 years old and has held several programming classes. For instance, he held classes on HTML and Python. He is also the leader and founder of the Raspberry pi club in Dulwich College Beijing.

His inspiration to write this book was when he was reading a different book on Raspberry Pi. He looked at it and thought he could write a much better book. So, he started writing drafts and this book was born.
